Thank you to all of you who responded to last week's survey about Camp Fort Greene online. We have read through your responses, and it is clear there is not enough interest in online programming to sustain a virtual Summer 2020 season. That means we will not be offering a camp experience until we can safely do so in person.
Things are changing day to day, and we’re all just struggling to keep up and make the best decisions for our families. Despite the tone of recent events, we are still planning for a bright, healthy Summer 2020 at Camp Fort Greene.
Throughout the week, campers go to our local parks and playgrounds to play outdoors!
On Fridays, all campers should wear swimwear under their shorts and camp t-shirts, as they will go to the local playgrounds for sprinkler day!
All our campers play soccer twice a week. Led by experienced Junior Counselors, younger campers learn to kick, pass, and score with confidence. As campers grow older, they enjoy more drills and direct instruction to help build confidence in soccer.
In partnership with our beloved Clinton Hill Library, Camp Fort Greene has consistently provided opportunities for campers to develop and grow a love of books.
Did you know that April 22, 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day? Although the big party takes place in the spring, our campers will celebrate this milestone anniversary all summer long.
