Gardening in Fort Greene

Did you know that April 22, 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day? Although the big party takes place in the spring, our campers will celebrate this milestone anniversary all summer long.

Lower Camp campers will focus on stewardship and sustainability as they garden in the Greene Garden.

Middle Camp campers will test soil, study the health of plants in the garden and park, and consider the big questions that produce the healthiest outcomes in community gardening as they garden in Fort Greene Park’s Revolutionary Garden. All campers go to gardening twice a week.
