You may know that Camp Fort Greene is run by two local moms whose children are enrolled in our summer program. As mothers, we are acutely aware of the extraordinary events impacting our world, our country, and of course our beloved Brooklyn communities.

Things are changing day to day, and we’re all just struggling to keep up and make the best decisions for our families. Despite the tone of recent events, we are still planning for a bright, healthy Summer 2020 at Camp Fort Greene.

Registration has opened, and spaces have been filling up. Given the realities of the COVID19 pandemic, and recent closing of schools and public spaces, we want to assure you that we have systems in place to refund registration money if camp is disrupted due to mandates related to COVID19 that are issued at the city, state, or federal level. This means that, if Camp Fort Greene is unable to operate this summer, we will issue refunds to families. This is just our way of assuring you that we get it, and we’ve got your back as we all get through this together.
