CHLOE TAYLOR Camp Curriculum Director
Chloe Taylor has been a curriculum developer and educator for over 10 years in New York City. Originally from Pittsburgh, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where she developed an interest in innovative teaching practices and creative technology. As part of the New York City Teaching Fellows program she earned her master's degree in education from Fordham University in 2010. Chloe is passionate about creating purposeful learning experiences. She understands the opportunity summertime presents for exploration and wonder.
In 2013, Chloe wrote and taught the original “How We Grow and Change” curriculum for Camp Fort Greene. What began as a fun, interactive summer experience for 10 campers has grown into a powerful summer movement for hundreds of neighborhood children. As Program Manager and Curriculum Director of Greeneprints, Inc., Chloe manages all aspects of curriculum, scheduling and the hiring and retention of staff members.
Chloe is committed to creating rogramming each year that honors the natural world and the magic of summer. Inspired by the success of the original program, Chloe has created a new summer experience, Tech Fort Greene. Grounded in the values of exploration, inquiry and innovation, Tech Fort Greene offers campers an introduction to circuitry, robotics and foundations of computer science in creative ways.
